Het Twentse solarteam is een team van ambitieuze en ondernemende studenten van Saxion en Universiteit Twente, met maar één doel: het winnen van de World Solar Challenge 2013. Een race van meer dan 3000 kilometer van Darwin naar Adelaide dwars door de Australische outback, waarin uitsluitend auto’s meerijden die worden aangedreven door zonne-energie.
